Day 10: Cairns; Amphibious Duck and Jungle Train!

Treat of the Day:  Striking up conversations with other travelers is easy if you ask, "what are you doing today? "... and that always leads to blessings!

Spending 2 nights in Cairns, we chose to visit a rainforest in day one, before a gloriously (hopefully) snorkeling adventure to the GBR tomorrow.

Train through the Rainforest... it poured! As it should.

This guy had no idea!

Dinner is now confirmed to be at Eden for all of our remaining meals.  It's spectacular, and far and away the best specialty restaurant on our plan.

Peggy's gnocchi!

Steve's shrimp appetizer

Pastrami raclette appetizer

Elva's Branzino

We met Queen Mary I, our amazing chef, and she had been praying for a Bible.  When Elva offered it to her, tears and hugs ensued.

Queen Mary I.. so sweet and talented!

Comments

  1. Queen May receiving the Bible from Elva is the best photo of the trip. Amen.
