Day 7: Brisbane, the "Brown Snake" river and 2.8 million friends!

Treat of the Day: The ethnic diversity, coupled with unbounded friendliness, helps one fall in love with Brisbane!

From the cruise terminal, on the shuttle bus and 30 minutes later you're dropped off in bustling, downtown Brisbane. Super clean, a river meandering through the center of town and 50 cent ferries cruising the 48 dotted stops and you're set for a great 3 hours. The ladies chilled on the ship and avoided the overcast and partial rain, while Steve and I ventured into the unknown, and now, beloved city.

The "Brown Snake" has walking paths on both sides...

New Farm Park.. our ferry stop, Bluey locale and Italian deli... Trifecta!

A short walk from ferry to deli, a very highly rated Italian lunch spot, didn't disappoint.

Crusty Italian meat sandwich and a side of meatballs... we split it, thankfully!

Dinner at Eden is a spectacular experience.  Last night was the lobster tails and tonight was the perfect charred filet mignon.

I did say perfect right!  They call it Pittsburgh style!
