Day 9: GBR...So far, a bit disappointing: (

Treat of the Day: People our age tend to be dissatisfied with the younger generations and the reality is because few are talking to them about trusting and treasuring Jesus!

Being smashed by a typhoon 6 years ago did much damage to the coral reef, which recovers at a slow rate. Thus, much of the inner reef showed some signs of vibrancy, and Peggy swam with a turtle ... but much was hazy and only a small variety and quantity of fish. We're told the outer reef is much more beautiful and interesting... that's in two days.

High speed boat with 30 folks to the inner Great Barrier Reef (GBR).

Steve and Peggy getting ready to slip into the 80 degree water!

Steve stayed up until midnight watching videos on how to use his go pro for underwater shots and videos.  Can't wait to get a few to include in this post. Needless to say, on the ride home, Steve may have napped a few times...

Steve's in there somewhere!

We came in second at general trivia today, having been joined by a lovely couple from the Sydney area, and while I was sharing Christ and a Bible with the husband Michael, Elva was doing the same with his wife! Lovely people, great God!

Digging in to local oysters!

Some nice hamachi

Loving her shrimp cocktail!
