Day 26: Bay of Islands and down for the count

Treat of the Day: Can't feel great all the time, especially with 22 days on board a cruise ship. Great nursing care by Peggy, prayer and freedom to relax makes one get better quickly!

Full blown cold and sore throat throughout the day.  Zinc lozenges, under the tongue capsules, ibuprofen, nyquil day and night, hot tea, lots of water, I was well nursed and I'm feeling better now at 8:30pm.

We stayed on board while our team either swam in the ocean on the closest island or took an historic excursion to see glow worms (really maggots with a marketing spin) and historical sites.

Staying on board for me was the only option.

Beautiful Day enjoyed by many!

All aboard for our last, super special meal at Eden!

I'm hoping to be fully up to snuff in the morning for our 7:30 departure.

Worth mentioning, CJ again blessed the karaoke audience and they loved it. Just prior, the healthy team, clearly not needing my help, won the last trivia of the cruise. Finally, all bags were placed in the hallway by 10pm on the dot!
